I know, I know, I haven't blogged in quite awhile. Our lives have been a little more than hectic this past couple of months for reasons I'd rather forget. So although this event took place awhile ago, I'm posting it now. Better late than never, right?
We took Baby camping for the first time ever. We love to camp but kind of gave up on the idea after my seven-months pregnant ordeal (getting up off an air mattress to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night is not the funnest experience). I was worried that if Alex was too little, he would sufficate in the millions of blankets I feel is necessary to keep him warm at night when camping. When he turned one, I felt like the risks decreased greatly. We just tried an overnighter for our first excursion and Baby did great. We camped at Timpanooke in the American Fork Canyon, hiked to Stewart Falls, boated at Tibble Reservoir, hung out at the campsite, and took a leasurely walk up Timp a bit. He woke up twice during the night for about a minute and was fine the rest of the time. We will definitely have to go more next summer. Aaaaaaaa, I'm not ready for winter!
