365 Wonderful Days

Well my little baby boy is officially one years old! For his birthday, he got a FisherPrice door and kitchen - a lot cooler than they sound. He also got a book that we can put a picture of him in, shoes, and a stacking tower. We went to the zoo in the morning despite feeling under the weather and got ice cream at night before Grandma and Grandpa came over for some celebrating. All in all, it was a good day.

I can not even begin to imagine how quickly this past year has flown by. It seems like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital in his little ducky outfit. These past 365 days have definitely been some of the happiest and hardest times of my life. I never knew being a Mommy would require so much physical and emotional energy - but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I am so happy that Heavenly Father gave me the blessing of such a sweet little spirit and that Eric is such a wonderful Father and support to me. Little Alex, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present a year ago and I can't wait to watch you grow up. We love you sooooo much - you will never understand how much until you have a little one of your own. Happy 1st Birthday!
